Hatha Yoga is a discipline that teaches us mindfulness of the body. We become more aware and sensitive to its operations, focusing our breathing and calming the nervous system and mind. With the development of ‘asanas’ (postures), we stimulate the organs, stretch and strengthen the muscles and improve our flexibility, preparing our body for ‘pranayamas’ (breathing exercises). The practice of Hatha Yoga builds fitness, reduces stress and gives us a feeling of well-being.
